FREE COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR HELPS
“aUNT sUE AND HER LITTLE DOG, TOO”
Sanford-Brown-Ft. Lauderdale Students to provide Health Screenings
to Area Residents and Their Pets
WHAT:     It’s easy to push health screenings to the bottom of a to-do list, but Sanford-Brown-Ft. Lauderdale is making it easy for local residents toaccess valuable health screenings this weekend at a community health fair on campus. Open to the general public, the school will offer a variety of free medical services provided by Sanford-Brown medical and dental students, including:
·   FREE Medical Screenings for blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol
·   FREE Dental and oral cancer screenings
·   A MyLifeCheck profile from the American Heart Association
·   FREE HIV testing courtesy of Holy Cross Hospital
·   Information on how to properly read a prescription
·   A blood drive sponsored by Community Blood Centers of South Florida
·   And much more!
Sanford-Brown veterinary technician students will provide health services for canine companions. The Feel Good Clinic will administer rabies & distemper vaccinations for $10 and will clean ears and trim nails for $5.
All proceeds from the Feel Good Clinic will benefit the Humane Society of Broward County and the SPCA Wildlife Care Center in Fort Lauderdale
